About the
founder
My background is a blend of military precision and non-profit dedication. This unique mix has shaped my approach to design, where creativity meets discipline in every project I undertake.
My design career began in the U.S. Army, where I created shirt designs, belt buckles, and signs that went beyond aesthetics – they told powerful stories. This experience honed my skills in creating designs that are not only visually appealing but also carry a deep narrative.
After my time in the military, I transitioned to the non-profit sector, where my role expanded to managing a wide range of projects. This period of my career was marked by versatility and attention to detail, as I tackled everything from book covers and album artwork to extensive projects like a detailed 63-page product catalog and a comprehensive 300+ page dictionary.
In my quest to always be at the forefront of design, I've embraced the digital landscape with enthusiasm. My work includes designing wireframes for major websites and my technical expertise extends to HTML, CSS, C++, and JavaScript, skills that enable me to connect and collaborate effectively with teams across various design disciplines.
My passion lies in embracing challenges and exploring new frontiers in design. I am constantly learning new methods and ways of working. With every project, I aim to not just deliver visually compelling work, but to create designs that tell a story and resonate deeply with their audience. I believe that good design is about more than just looks – it's about making a meaningful impact. That's why I wanted to start Firgun Design Studio.
